A leading multinational company with offices in Dublin are currently hiring for a Tools Program Manager to join their team.
As a Tools Program Manager you will leverage your analytical, project management and leadership skills to optimise localisation tools, by documenting and representing new tool requirements and collaborating with technical teams on the development of new and innovative tools that support our goal of delivering outstanding localisation to our end users.
This position will sit within the Localization team who helps the companies ideas and products look, feel and sound natural to users in their own countries.
This team is an international collection of enthusiastic, creative and knowledgeable people who excel in a fast-paced, culturally diverse environment.
Repsonsible for translating and adapting the companies products, marketing materials and support content into over 100 languages.
Your projects will often span multiple offices, time zones and functions, and it's your role to keep all the players coordinated on progress and deadlines. You are intellectually curious, comfortable with ambiguity, and can manage multiple projects on time-sensitive schedules.
Responsibilities
- Understand Localization workflows, services and stakeholder requirements to identify and document tool needs which enable operational scaling, efficiency and optimised quality from internal team and vendor partners
- Collaborate with Localization team leadership and technical teams to prioritise localization tool requirements and subsequently drive for tool development by technical teams
- Develop strong connections with the localisation industry and remain aware of emerging technologies and how they could be incorporated into our business
- Collaborate with technical teams and vendor partners to test newly developed tools and features before their launch and drive change management efforts to support acceptance and adoption of newly developed tools and features.
- Conduct fact based / data driven analysis and research to support recommendations and proposals.
Requirements:
- Degree Qualified
- Minimum of 4 years experience in program management
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills and ability to effectively influence at all levels of management
- Experience leading complex international projects / programs
- Excellent communications (verbal and written) in English
- Experience in a technical or product management roles
- Industry experience in localization
- Strong analytical and problem solving experience, combined with excellent business judgment
- Ability to present work to senior decision makers in a clear and compelling manner
