Technical Support Engineer - Tier 3

My Client, an IT services company who pride themselves on providing truly exceptional IT service to their clients are looking for an experienced Level 3 Technical Support Engineer to join the service desk team in their offices based in Castletroy, Limerick. The position will involved a small client-facing aspect but will mainly be supporting clients remotely from the offices.

This position will be the final escalation point within the service desk, my client is looking for a self-motivated and level-headed engineer that is
capable of troubleshooting and resolving the most difficult and complicated issues.

They must be capable of resolving issues that are escalated by Tier 1 and Tier 2 as well as provide support, training and guidance to these levels when needed and act as a back-up

Ensure customer and partner inquiries are responded to within established timeframes and
customer care and technical support service levels are achieved.

They may be required to travel to client sites if needed and out-of-office hour/on-call rotation will be required

The successful engineer must have:
MCSE and / or VCP certification
5+ years' experience in providing technical support.
Detailed knowledge of Microsoft (Windows Server 2012/2016, Microsoft Exchange, Office365 and
Active Directory).
Setup, operation and troubleshooting of TCP/IP networking.
3+ years' experience with VMware ESX Server or VMware products.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English as this will be a customer-facing role.
