Technical Support Engineer - Network- German Speaking
My Client, a Cork based IT security Company that protect networks, servers, and devices, wherever they are, is looking for a Technical Support Engineer with a strong customer service focus to join their team that help support products, customers, partners and other engineers.

There are a number of German Technical Support positions open across different technical levels within this team, below is a brief description of duties and requirements, send in your CV or get in touch to find out more detail the technical level suited to you.
You will be reporting to the Technical Support Team Leader and will be required to:
Provide customer Support via Phone or Emails & being a customer ambassador who is passionate about creating a positive customer experience
Achieve the target of call cases set out for the day
Resolve technical issues including networking/security and general technical faults the customer may have
Ensure customers have the tools and knowledge they need to run their business
Resolve the technical issue as efficiently and effectively as possible, if this isn't possible, escalate the issue to the Global Support team and other departments within the company
Create online help content to document previously unknown solutions and help a large group of customers
Skills & Experience
Experience in a customer facing role and supporting customers remotely via phone/email within an IT environment
Experience working with Windows Desktop and Server Operating Systems and Linux based networking appliances
Experience dealing with Networking Issues - configuration of Firewalls switches and routers and troubleshooting protocols
Experience with security solutions (Anti-Malware, Mobile, Email, Web and Encryption standards)
CCNA would be desirable
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field of study
General Computer skills including - Setting up, upgrading, troubleshooting, installation and configuration
Fluent in German both verbal and written
