My Client is currently looking for an experienced Technical Support Engineer (level 2/3) to join their team in Cork on a permanent basis.
This will be a challenging role, which will give you exposure to a broad range of technical issues on a daily basis. You will work as part of a Global team, working Monday to Friday, 9-5 in Cork to support Client needs via phone and email.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience with Windows Systems, Linux knowledge would be a major advantage, and knowledge of iSeries would really put you in the lead!!
5 + years experience would be preferred, but if you have strong technical knowledge and about 3 years experience, you would be a strong consideration for the role.

Skills & Experience

  • Ideally, 5+ years experience supporting Windows and/or Linux systems
  • Experience with iSeries a major advantage
  • Previous experience as a Systems Engineer or a System Administrator.
  • Experience with design, configuration and implementation of Microsoft and/or Linux based servers.
  • Solid knowledge of WAN and Network protocols (WINS, DNS, DHCP, TCP).

Stamp 4 or EU Passport essential
