Opportunity for a commercial tax professional to join a market leading MedTech company and gain valuable industry experience.

Morgan McKinley are exclusively representing an Irish Headquartered, Global Medical Technology company, to recruit a Tax Analyst for their Dublin office.

This position reports directly to the CFO and will support the company's international corporate tax compliance obligations. You'll be involved in all daily, weekly monthly and quarterly financials for a fast growing and expanding company, ensuring you gain incredible exposure to senior management and an ideal platform to progress your career.

The ideal candidate will have 1-2 year's PQE in a Private Practice AND/OR Industry environment, but relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a full professional qualification.

For candidates who are part-qualified, the company will support the completion your professional qualification.

Dependant on experience, the salary range for this role will be up to €75,000, in addition to a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Research varied international tax matters and drafting reports and tax advice for the business
  • Support on the international corporate tax compliance process
  • Assist with the preparation of the monthly / quarterly and annual tax submittals in conjunction with our external accounting firm
  • Liaising with the accounting teams to improve compliance processes and review account reconciliations
  • Support the business on tax audits and liaise with revenue authorities in this regard
  • Research and analyse global tax law changes
  • Provide support to the CFO on US tax matters
  • Managing and developing relationships across the business and third-party advisors

What are we looking for?

  • CTA/AITI/ACA Qualified OR Part-Qualified
  • Private Practice (Big 4/Top 10) experience is preferable
  • Perceptive, self-starter, ability to work independently along with being a great team player
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Continually seeks to improve work processes and find ideas for more effective working
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks, develop timelines and set goals
  • Strong communication and inter-personal skills
