Morgan MckInley are working with a leading Multinational company here in Cork who are looking for a tax analyst to join their growing team.
The role is a mixture of tax heads across Indirect tax, PAYE, Corporate tax and customs.
It will include but will not be limited to:
- Review and file monthly P30/Annual P35 etc
- Ensuring ISEs & short term assignees taxes and tax documentation correctly managed
- Ad hoc payroll queries
- Review and approval of VAT returns for multiple European/Irish VAT registrations
- Review of intrastat and EC sales lists for multiple European VAT registrations
- Correspondence with European/Irish tax authorities
- Correspondence with Revenue/Brokers
- Preparation and completion of Tax Returns for certain Irish entities within the required deadlines
- Tax Accounting for US GAAp and Local Statutory reporting
- Complete year end Tax reporting for these Irish entities within tight deadlines
- Work with Tax Lead to provide updates to the Board on Compliance of these taxes
- R&D Tax Credit/Government Grants- Ireland
- Work with the process owner to review the R & D Tax Credit file to ensure it satisfies requirements for claiming the relief before submission
- Work with internal business to ensure all relevant projects are identified in advance of commencement
- Ad Hoc tax projects
- Qualified Accounting or Tax Professional with 3+ years PQE
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work as a key member of a cross-functional team
- Excellent Microsoft office skills
- Experience with SAP would be a distinct advantage.
