Senior IT Project Manager
A brand new opportunity in within a pharma company in Cork for a Senior IT Project Manager. This is an initial 12 month contract position and has come about due to someone internally moving on to another role. This company is a complex organisation where you would be working cross functionally to get projects delivered.
What is expected of you in the position?
Your full remit will be to Head up the Project Managers of which there is two in the Cork site. You will have full overview of the projects and will be fully responsible for the Governance of these projects and will ensure that the project managers are running these projects according to the methodology followed on site( which is specific to this company) You will be responsible for mentoring, coaching and guiding the project managers on the Cork Site and will be the Lead for the Cork Site in relation to Project Management. You will also be responsible for any hiring of contract PM's for projects coming up. You will be fully responsible for the financial budgets of projects. Although the project managers will be responsible for their own financial budgets it will ultimately be up to you to ensure they are adhering to them.
What key experience should you have?
This is a pharma company so pharma, bio pharm or any experience working within GxP environments is a must for this position. You will need to be able to demonstrate where you have managed Project Managers and the Governance of projects in the past. Key to this will also be the financial management so someone with strong financial management experience is a must. If you have exposure to MES also it will be an advantage.
