Our client also develops and deploys EPMS (Event and Power Monitoring Systems) as one of its core product offerings. These systems monitor Power and Systems states, primarily in the Datacentre field, as a result there is a requirement to employ a SCADA development Engineer.
The Role
Due to signicifcant traction in the Market from a recent product release, team expansion is now necessary. Joining a Team of Software and Controls Engineers the sussessfull candidate will have experience with SCADA, Data Collection and Historian platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the successful delivery of project
- Plan and Execute SCADA Development Tasks
- Interface directly with Customers, understand their requirements and be able to communicate to internal team.
- Interaction with various fields

- Document processes and results
- Work to deadlines in a controlled manner
Requirements
- Third level qualification - Electrical, Mechanical or Controls (Desirable)
- Good knowledge of SCADA/PLC systems (Ignition , Allen Bradley)
- Some expereience with Ignition would be a distinct advantage, however training will be provided.
- Good understanding of networking, IP address etc.
- Knowledge of Electrical Power Systems
- Work well within a team environment, as well as independently.
- Be a self-starter to execute a variety of project functions efficiently and professionally
- Good knowledge of MS Office Packages
- Knowledge of Project Management tools
Other desireable experience
- Driving License and access to own vehicle
- Willing/able to travel abroad - USA, Europe initially
