Sales Manager / Project Manager

Reporting to

Commercial Director

Job Overview

The successful candidate will be required to maintain and develop relationships with existing clients by providing support, information and guidance and researching and recommending new products.

They will be required to seek out business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry, researching and analysing sales options.

The successful candidate will be instrumental in devising and implementing the strategy for meeting sales performance targets, they will form part of our senior management team and be integral to maintaining and growing our foot print in Ireland.

The requirements of the role include:

  • Experience of preparing quotations and tenders allied to analytical skills that ensure that margin is achieved.
  • Proven track record in sales, business development and winning new business.
  • Proven track records of increasing revenue through generation of leads.
  • Ability to cross-sell - Sports hall, Fitness Equipment and Catalogue
  • Ability to prepare and deliver customer presentations.
  • To help co-ordinate installations - liaise with customer / our team.
  • Manage and develop our catalogue business.
  • Ability to segment the market and generate sales from several sectors.
  • Keep up to date on industry trends, market activities and competitors in order to identify product improvements or new products.

Personal Profile

  • Experience within the Sports and Fitness sector would be advantageous.
  • Passionate about Sport.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the confidence to approach people at all levels of seniority
  • Ambitious and persistent, a natural networker
  • Self-motivated and enjoy working to targets
  • Articulate, confident communicator and presenter
  • Commercial knowledge to analyse market data and identify new opportunities
  • Numerical and analytical skills
  • Strong team player but equally good at taking initiative
