There is a new exciting Risk Analyst - Impairment Modelling role, based in Dublin City Centre.

Working as part of a team, you will be reporting to the Decision Science Senior Analyst. This will allow you to support the Impairment Modelling Team through Customer Focus, High performance, Risk Management and Accountability decisions making.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support delivery of relevant model remediation actions originated from internal and external stakeholders i.e. Proactive Assurance, Head of Impairment, Model Validation, Audit and Regulator.
  • Sustaining the building of data sets that are robust and efficient for use across Credit Risk, helping to maximise speed of developments through efficient coding.
  • Support the development and testing of a suite of IFRS9, State-of-Economy and other related models and their sub-components.
  • Provide a high standard of documentation on all model development projects.
  • Assist requests including fulfilling internal stakeholder or regulatory informational queries

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum one year experience in a modelling, Credit Risk, forecasting or stress testing role in Retail.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a highly numerate oriented subject like mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, econometrics or quantitative finance/science.
  • Highly PC literate with a good knowledge of Microsoft applications and experience in SAS, SQL or VB. SAS in particular would be advantageous.
  • Working knowledge of IFRS9 regulation.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment on a flexible basis to cope with demanding delivery timetables, often under time pressure.
  • Innovative, creative and focus on problem solving with ability to assess the facts to make good decisions.
  • Strong communication skills able to communicate successfully with colleagues at all levels and build effective working relationships.
