Our client, one of Ireland's leading consultancies are currently looking to hire an experienced R&D Technical Manager/Advisor to join their Global Investment and Innovation Incentives team.
This is a growing team of tax and technology specialists who work with a diverse range of multinational and indigenous clients. Your role is to use your IT experience and knowledge to help Ireland's most successful companies to assess their technical activities and obtain generous R&D incentives.
We are seeking an IT professional with at least 8 years experience as a developer and manager, to take on a consultancy role to review & analyse the technological aspects of R&D projects undertaken by companies, ranging from privately-owned businesses to major blue-chip multinational corporations.
This is a client facing role involving conducting technical interviews and preparing documentation for Irish Revenue and grant awarding bodies such as the IDA or Enterprise Ireland. You will have the opportunity to use your IT knowledge and experience to help companies identify technical activities that are eligible for incentives. This will involve visiting client premises around Ireland and discussing development projects with senior technologists.
Your professional experience:
A broad and extensive background in IT such that you can understand and discuss technology over a broad range of industries and capabilities.
Strong interpersonal skills that have developed though the experience of leading projects and managing personnel.
Excellent communication skills and client facing experience.
It will be useful to have experience in as many of the following technical areas and Industries as possible:
