Leading FMCG company looking for an autonomous driven individual to lead their Quality Systems on site
I am currently working with a leading FMCG company based in Cork who are looking for a strong quality individual to join their team. This person will need to have a solid understanding of food safety and FSSC 22000. This individual will be second in command to the Quality Manager and will have the opportunity to lead when the Quality Manager is off-site.
Some information on the role:
The Quality System Manager is responsible for maintaining and managing the QMS on site. They will be a key player in ensuring compliance with internal standards, regulatory standards and customer requirements. The QS Manager is a key support role to the site QA Manager and is recognised as a key player within the site team. The key role of the QS Manager is to maintain and improve the QMS, monitor compliance and report on metrics to meet the requirements of FSSC 22000.
In this role the successful individual will need to be both process and customer focused. They will be on hand to help prepare for and take part in audits (both internal & customer) and will help in the roll out of new quality policies and procedures across the site. They will also be a key point of contact for customer queries and will aid in the closing out of complaints.
