Galway, 6 months with potential for extension

Contract Opportunity with a leader in the world's healthcare industry focusing on the Quality & Regulatory function within their diagnostics division.

As Project Manager you will be focused on overall project delivery encompassing scope management, change management, strategic planning, project governance, business & stakeholder engagement and communication. You will take ownership for ensuring initiatives are aligned to the organisation's strategy, essential projects are prioritised, are sufficiently funded and executed within timelines and budget so as to achieve a successful outcome.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and influencing with experience working with GMP compliant sites.

The role will be accountable for articulating and promoting the benefits of the programs and ensuring project plans are developed, maintained and risks escalated in a timely manner. The successful candidate will work closely with the entities within the Business Unit to ensure a well communicated project and hold regular project planning meetings with various sites/functions and divisional teams. The role shall be office based with travel expected, when necessary.

You will have the following skills/experience:

  • Solid interpersonal and influencing abilities, excellent communication and presentation skills
  • A relevant 3rd level Degree and at minimum 3 years' experience in Project Management within a Regulatory, Quality or Medical Device environment
  • Experience in handling and delivering multiple projects (2 or more concurrently).
  • Driven projects in a complex and multi stakeholder environment.
  • Working with cross-functional teams such as Quality, Regulatory, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, etc.
  • Working with global teams with effective project execution.
  • International exposure and experience, operating across multiple time zones.
  • Additional languages are highly beneficial
