The procurement manager is responsible for the development of the procurement function and the management of the buyers. This role requires an experienced manager who is passionate about procurement, strategically focused and likes to implement positive change within an organisation.
The positon requires the management of supplier relationships, metric and performance along with ensuring maximum performance of the team. This is a cross functional role working closely with Operations Management, Sales Management, Procurement Team, Finance & HR. The function should be managed with an efficient and cost-effective manner while being fully compliant with all relevant legislation, regulation and in line with company policy and procedure.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation of company policies and procedures in relation to performance management, H&S, SOP's and SLA's. If you are comfortable managing cross functional relationships, implementing and managing supplier trade agreements this role would be a great opportunity for a driven individual to progress their career in a managerial role. As a senior management role within the organisation the role will get a lot of exposure and autonomy.
