The procurement manager will work closely with the Supply Chain team who are responsible for all areas of the supply chain from production & supply planning to new product introduction, warehouse operations, inventory control and logistics. Ideally the successful candidate will have an MBA or equivalent honours degree, IIPM Certification and APICS Certified.
The role of the Purchasing Manager is to lead & manage the procurement team in all aspects of the function providing strategic & tactical direction that secures and sustains supply continuity. The successful candidate will be responsible for team Leadership & Development. The procurement manager will collaborate & partner with stakeholder groups to ensure alignment and synergy of priorities on an ongoing basis. In addition, this role will be the key person to develop and implement strategies and operational plans in support of site & corporate plans.
The requirements are a minimum of 5-7 years Purchasing Management experience in high volume manufacturing sector preferably ISO13485 &/or 21CFR Part 820 regulated and to be an experienced people manager with a keen focus on coaching. People leadership is essential for this role.
