The Procurement Lead will be responsible for developing and executing strategic projects and supporting the site's operating objectives, ensuring that procedures and processes are securely established to support the site's launch and growth plans. This dynamic, experienced individual will be willing to create breakthrough strategies which deliver quick-wins and generate legitimate business value, always driving innovation.
Stakeholder engagement will be a key aspect of this role. The Procurement Lead will closely partner with a wide range of internal in the establishment, communication and implementation of business goals.
This role will also involve successful management of relationships with external contacts to ensure optimal team performance. Ensuring that every supplier relationship is established with intent of future continuous improvement is key.
With a Bachelor's degree in a Business, Engineering, Science, Supply Chain or Procurement-related area potentially to MBA or advanced degree level,
Extensive professional expertise in procurement and programme management within the biopharmaceutical manufacturing environment (>5 years), as well as experience working with senior leaders (3-5 years) and in large-scale organisational change initiatives.
Ideally, the Procurement Lead will have experience in the biologics product manufacturing environment and a proven track record in project management and biologics operations scale-up experience.
