**This role is part time, 3 days per week - Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday**

The client's Adopt A Startup core team is looking for a new team member, with a communications & operations background, who is passionate about working with high-potential Startups and the client's impact in the Irish Startup ecosystem. In this role, you will be responsible for helping to shape the program's narrative both internally with cross-functional employees and externally with participating Startups throughout the program as well as leading the planning and execution of program events. You will be working closely with Startups and employees to develop and execute a communication & operations strategy driven by strong content and efficient processes.

The client's Adopt A Startup is now in its fifth year, with the H2 2018 cycle of the program kicking off in September 2018. Through 12 weeks of mentoring, the principle aim of the program is to assist in further developing the business strategies of high-potential Irish Startups by providing them with hands-on support in growing their enterprises, including utilising the client's full suite of digital solutions to make the most of the web. As part of the program, Startups will receive 12 weeks hands-on mentoring (3 cross-functional per Startup), access to an exclusive lecture series (on topics like Innovation, Export, Search Quality, AdWords and Analytics) and the opportunity to present to senior Google and Startup community leaders at a Semi-Final and Grand Final (See Irish Times article).

The Role:
As a core member of the Adopt A Startup team you will work collaboratively with a cross-functional team to help shape and drive Ireland's strategy for engaging the local Startup community by leading our communications & operations strategy for the H2 2018 edition of Adopt A Startup.

Comms Responsibilities:
Build external and internal communications project plan for the Adopt A Startup Program (incl pre-launch, during and after program).
Create intelligent, fresh and relevant content content, including emails, posters, internal screens, G+ pages, other social media (incl pre-launch, during and after program).
Communicate locally with participating Startups and Support teams regarding event location, date and times before and during program (weekly basis).
Promote the Launch Party, Lecture Days & Grand Final, internally and externally with the participants, employees and the Irish Startup community.
Regularly update and continue to improve program event site.
Develop new PR strategies and initiatives in collaboration with the PR team to increase programme traction in local and global media.
Respond to any inbound queries from program participants

Operations Responsibilities:
Create a strong program operations project plan for internal and external events and manage budgets, processes, plans and execution.
Conceptualize, plan and execute high energy and fun events for our Adopt A Startup program (incl bi-weekly lectures, workshops, semi-finals and finals). This involves everything from managing invitations & RSVPs to operations on the day of events.
Create alignment among core team stakeholders on all aspects of event strategy, planning and execution.
Ensure the highest production standards are maintained at every event, while still retaining cost efficiencies.
Lead the engagement with our Marketing Agency for the development and launch of our livestreams to support our advertisers with their strategic operational challenges
Support the Scalable Solutions Program Manager on scaling Magellan through livestreams and other scalable solutions
Identify and design new marketing collateral and scalable solutions opportunities to effectively deliver and promote our service offering


MandatoryBA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience

Ability to speak and write in English fluently and idiomatically

3-4 years of experience managing complex cross-functional projects.

Ability to manage, plan, organize and execute a wide range of events, within budget

In depth understanding of event planning and execution, and attention to detail
