NPI Project Manager - Medical Device - Dublin

The successful applicant will work directly with the Worldwide Director of Engineering to oversee all project activities through timely planning, project management and communication ensuring functional goals are delivered on time and of the highest of quality.

This role will be responsible for the management, direction and coordination of all engineering activities at the South Dublin plant to ensure the effortless and seamless introduction of New Products being released to the market.

Our client is actively seeking:

  • A successful Project Manager to provider consistent leadership and direction within individual projects focused across the introduction of new products being released to the market. The person will spearhead the project core team to deliver all industrialisation related elements from developing a manufacturing strategy to overseeing the materials selection

The NPI Project Manager will be heavily involved cross-functional planning and management of projects, oversee CAPEX budgets and manage spend, develop operational strategies, participate in product design definition, risk management, and work very closely with the site's R&D team to ensure alignment between product and process activities.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:

  • 7 years' experience within the Medical Device industry with previous experience in Project Management, Program Management and Stakeholder Management related activities
  • Strong product development and NPI experience working alongside R&D to introduce new products to the market
  • Understanding of automated equipment
  • Previous experience within a highly automated, fast paced manufacturing environment
  • Ability to engage and influence others regardless of role/level within the organization
  • Excellent communication, presentation and training skills
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven track record within
  • Ability work within international counterparts and navigate political environments across the introduction of new products

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree in Engineering discipline or equivalent is required
  • A formal project management qualification is highly desirable
