Mechanical Design Engineer (Multiple Positions) - Meath

Reporting to Engineering Manager and working within a well-established Design Team, as a Mechanical Design Engineer you will exceptional experience within a forward-thinking Machine Manufacturing company during a time of significant expansion.

About The Position

Due to the continued expansion of my client a number of Junior & Senior Mechanical Design roles have become available. Fantastic opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineers of all levels to take the next step in their own career and move into a challenging but rewarding new positions. As a Mechanical Design Engineer you will be tasked with having much responsibility within developing mechanical 3D designs through Creo for a range of existing and new products being introduced into the market.

Some responsibilities will include ensuring all work is carried out in an efficient and effective manner; working within a Design Team bringing concepts through the Design lifecycle process - this includes initial concept generation, detailed design, assembly and testing; hands-on design of company products through Creo; creating BOM's (Bill of Materials) and procurement of materials for each project involved within; interacting with other departments as part of the design process to ensure relevant points are captured and knowledge is shared. With regards to the Senior Mechanical Design opportunities available the position will entail more a leadership and mentoring responsibilities as well as hands-on design.

About The Person

For this position only Mechanical Design Engineers with a 3rd level qualification in Mechanical Engineering, or similar related discipline will be considered. Candidates of all level should apply however the most relevant of experience will be someone coming from Heavy Industrial, Automation, Automotive or Precision. Previous experience in producing detailed 3D designs through Creo is highly beneficial but not essential as training will be provided.
