Manufacturing Financial Controller - Cork

Their brilliant new approach has resulted in serious market demand for their product. This, in turn, has facilitated sustained growth with turnover projected to move past 100m in the next two years.

This upward curve has created an opportunity for a Controller with experience in a manufacturing business to join the senior leadership team. Taking responsibility for the financial control, information technology and operational finance requirements of the business, you will be a kep player in the next stage of the company's development

The ideal candidate will be ambitious and driven to support the ongoing growth of the company from both a financial and commercial perspective.

Responsibilities;

  • Financial reporting, financial control, strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting functions.
  • Monthly reporting, KPI analysis and targets review and corrective actions.
  • Preparation of year end statutory financial statements and liaison with company auditors.
  • Management of accounts staff including accounts assistant and management accountant.
  • Contributing to key commercial activities and projects in which business is involved.
  • Delivery of all statutory returns.
  • Cash flow and Treasury management and analysis
  • In conjunction with the executive team, develop and implement an information technology strategy which will support ther next stage of the company development
  • Support commercial and development teams in revenue and cost optimisation projects

Applicant Profile;

  • Qualified accountant with circa 15 years' experience with ideally 5 minimum in a Controller capacity.
  • Strong IT skills desirable
  • Ability to multi-task and demonstrate a strong commercial, managerial and strategic background.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment highly desirable
