Exciting opportunity for an experienced Employment Tax Manager to join one of the largest and fastest growing tax advisory service providers in Ireland.

Morgan McKinley are representing a global consultancy firm, who are expanding their tax function and hiring an Employment Tax Manager.

You'll be responsible for the daily management of the team and have the opportunity to work with a diverse client base (Blue-chip MNC, SME, Family owned, Private Client).

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a team of Associates, Seniors, and Assistant Managers
  • Advising clients on planning implications of international assignments and assisting with policy design and implementation
  • Working with the Senior Management team to prepare detailed technical tax advice in relation to various tax issues
  • Ensure client compliance with multifaceted tax laws and labour regulations.
  • Assisting clients with PAYE reviews, Revenue audits and voluntary disclosure submissions
  • Advising clients on their PAYE withholding obligations in respect of compensation and remuneration
  • Advising on executive and employee share incentive schemes
  • Advising on residency and taxation issues with regard to employees moving internationally.
  • Reviewing expatriate tax returns
  • Provide multiple jurisdictional advise in relation to employment tax compliance
  • Offer tax- and cost-efficient strategies to support client's transform global employment programs
  • Research technical tax issues

Our client is committed to offering flexible working arrangements and this position can be offered on a FULL-TIME, PART-TIME or FLEXIBLE basis. Successful candidates may have the opportunity to work remotely or from a regional office.

Interested candidates must have:

  • AITI/ACA qualification
  • Minimum of 1 years' PQE in a Private Practice AND/OR Industry environment.
  • Strong employment tax technical knowledge
  • Knowledge of Compensation & Benefits and Payroll is beneficial
  • Strong technical skills and detailed working knowledge of tax and social security matters
  • Demonstrated organisational and team leadership skills

Dependent on experience, the salary range for this role will be negotiable, in accompaniment to a full compensation package.
