The Role:

This role is tasked with the creation of a single source of reporting truth and consolidation of reporting of MI across the Operations with the ultimate goal of ensuring Data Quality across the organisation. The role will bring together information from all core systems and converted into a consumable format by the DQU team and Operations business units. The role will also involve working on active projects (internal and External (i.e. Regulatory) which will require the design, implementation and testing of reports and processes required for business needs.


The DQU Operations Advisor will be accountable for the delivery of the following:

  • Responsible for managing project related risks & Support Implementation work
  • Monitoring deliverable dates and working closely with the project teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of project deliverables and other ad hoc requests.
  • Attend and provide Data Quality Unit viewpoint in project workshops
  • Ability to quickly understand KBCI's IT systems, credit products, and processes
  • Build business requirements for new systems change, data definitions change, and implementation projects
  • Identify reporting weaknesses, and implement improvements (including new software reporting solutions & production of procedural / workflow documents)
  • Working closely with colleagues across Operations in defining existing reporting suite and clarifying real business requirement
  • Monitoring of Data Quality projects post clean up to prevent re-occurrence
  • Reengineering and rebuilding required suite of reports to reduce lead time and manual components
  • Ongoing engagement with Core Banking system project team supporting future phases of project and associated report & warehouse development
  • Involvement and testing with the transition of reporting over to T24 Core banking system



  • Previous experience in report development essential
  • Technical skills such as SQL and knowledge of databases is essential
  • Previous experience in leading or as part of a project team an advantage but not essential
  • Previous experience in other end user programming languages or BI platforms (Tableau, Power BI)
  • Previous experience with the Central Credit Register (CCR) or experience in a role that managed an external regulatory report function is preferred
  • Previous experience with Temenos T24, Insight Data Warehouse and Retail Systems is preferred

  • Ability and confidence to challenge current processes and identify alternatives, and to translate business needs into specific, detailed and complete business requirements



  • Relevant Mathematical, Business or Information Management Degree
  • Project Management experience essential (PRINCE2 Practitioner qualification preferred)
