Insurance Complaints Officer with a Global Insurance company based in Cork.

Morgan McKinley have been engaged to recruit an Insurance Complaints Officer for a Global Insurance company based in Cork. This will initially be a Maternity Cover contract but there is scope for the role to be extended and made permanent.

About You:

You will have oversight to manage the complaints for all of this client's customers. You will have a passion for problem-solving and ensuring that customers feel supported in issues to the point of resolution.

Responsibilities in the role:

  • Apply policy wordings, legislation and relevant procedures to review and resolve customer complaints
  • Manage a complex portfolio of complaints across territories for all Irish managed contracts
  • Appropriately contact customers from lodgement to resolution to provide mediation on issues
  • Act as a subject matter expert for complaint and dispute resolution process management throughout the business
  • Have a sound understanding of insurance regulatory requirements
  • Maintain appropriate records of complaint handling, investigation and resolution to support appropriate auditing requirements

Requirements for the Role:

  • APA or CIP, or relevant recognised insurance qualification
  • 3+ years dispute management experience within the Insurance industry
  • Experience with negotiation and mediation management
