The primary purpose of the role will be to support the attraction, development and retention of talent, advise and support senior management on all people related matters, and ensure the company is seen as Employer of choice in Ireland.
Provide recruitment support to Hiring Managers to help attract and retain a diverse team of talented professionals
Create and support a positive employee experience when hiring and on-boarding new employees, and supporting current employees, at every point in our employees' lifecycle.
Create, support and implement a variety of initiatives, in collaboration with the Leadership team in Waterford, to generate a strong pipeline of diverse talent for IT, technology and Operations roles.
Proactively maintain an up to date knowledge of employment law in Ireland to advise and inform policy development and management practices.
Collaborate with People Managers' on employee relations matters on their teams to support a high performance culture and to encourage people to bring their best self to work every day.
As part of the HR team, devise, plan and implement a proactive annual program of employee engagement initiatives to create a positive and innovative working environment, for example, Wellness events, Sports and Social activities, Benefits education and events, employee recognition etc.
Support the roll-out and implementation of global programs, change management initiatives, and organizational development.
Key requirements for the role:
- Minimum of 5 years in a HR or people management role.
- Degree in HR, Business Studies, Psychology or a related field a distinct advantage.
- Excellent written and presentation skills essential.
- Working knowledge of employment law in Ireland.
