E-commerce multinational looking for a junior HR advisor and benefits administrator for a contract position

This multinational e-commerce client made famous by it's auction style system is looking for an HR advisor for a 4 month contract. In this role, you will work in a team responsible for being experts in EMEA people-related jurisdictional knowledge and support over 4,000 employees across 17 countries on processes and queries related to the employee lifecycle.

This position requires close interaction with Human Resources Advisors and Managers as well as with the HR Specialist team members, managers and employees. As part of a dynamic team, the HR Advisor provides a full range of HR support involving sensitive and confidential information, including but not limited to:

  • Maintain and update data to ensure accurate employee records, reporting and compliance.
  • Good understanding of HR policies and processes (e.g. New Hires onboarding, Terminations, Transfers, HR related queries, compliance required paperwork etc).
  • Experience in Benefits Administration and reporting an advantage
  • Support salary administration and performance managements processes (annual and ad-hoc compensation process and practices, performance appraisal tracking, salary adjustments, promotions, spot awards payments/tracking etc).


  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to analyse information, diagnose problems and recommend appropriate solutions
  • 1+ years Human Resources / Recruiting experience
  • Degree or certificate in Human Resources or related discipline preferred
  • Previous experience with MS Office, in particular Excel
  • Previous experience with Benefits Administration and reporting an advantage
  • The role will require shift work between the hours 8am-5pm Monday to Friday
