Finance Partner - Dublin City Centre - University (€50- 70K)

Reporting to the Dean of Faculty, the role will be tasked with the responsibility for looking after the finance function within the faculty. The facility is accessible for all forms of public transport, such as the LUAS, the DART line (Dublin's suburban rail system) and a large number of Dublin's bus routes. The role will be fully responsible for executing reports to a high standard, and for all financial planning, including budgeting and forecasting, along with developing key business solutions that will assist the development of the faculty. A key part of the role is working closely with the other faculties at both a strategic level and on an operational basis to streamline processes.

To be successful in your application you must be a qualified accountant with 5 years post qualification experience, ideally in a similar environment. There will be a wide potential to build relationships cross-functionally and therefore you should have strong communication skills at an executive level. This is a contract role based in Dublin city centre for 6 months (maternity leave) with a competitive package.Responsbilities:·To develop and manage the financial details and funding of the Faculty· To support stakeholders in all strategic financial planning activities·To act on behalf of the Faculty Dean in discussions regarding budgets, allocations, funding, and driving efficiencies with Schools·Annual budget and financial plan for all units within the Faculty·Provide the Faculty Dean with accurate and relevant financial information required for strategic and operational decision making, financial planning and resource allocation·Provide information required to support all aspects of financial forecasting/modelling, identification of new sources of income·Collate/analyse financial and statistical data and other strategy/project-specific information, to support the administration and financial control of projects
