The Role:

Reporting to the Operations Manager, this is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a team to contribute to the advancement of company product development which includes Computer Vision algorithms, image and point cloud processing and UI development. This is a great opportunity to travel with the company as 60% of work may be based overseas.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform field installations and carry out calibration and repair of equipment
Provide remote support to clients
Assist customers in data acquisition on exploratory missions
Provide detailed recommendations to hardware and support teams on the system, based on field trips and feedback from clients
Assisting with development of new hardware and software releases
Thorough completion of job reports and ensuring customer tickets are kept up to date

Essential Experience/Qualifications:

BA in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic or Mechatronic Engineering
3 years' manufacturing experience in final assembly or test of electronic equipment
Field installation experience, carrying out calibration and repair of equipment
Experience providing remote support to clients
Excellent customer service skills and positive attitude
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work on own and as part of a team
Able to interpret electronic/electro-mechanical schematics and drawings

Desirable Experience:

Experience in one of the following is a plus: oil/gas industry experience, sub-sea surveying, ROV/AUV maintenance
Working knowledge of isolation meters, function generators
Working software knowledge of MS Office
Ability to work with manual/handheld tools
