Fantastic Senior Electronic Engineer opportunity has presented itself within a new and upcoming Technology company based in Dublin. Due to the continued expansion of my client from a start-up organisation to a now well-established and market leader within their area of expertise, they now have an excellent opportunity for an experience and innovative Senior Electronic Engineer to get in at the ground floor within progressive company who design electronic products that supply real-time information for a variety of industries.

About The Position

Great opportunity for a Senior Electronic Engineer with strong experience across Electronic Design with some programming experience to take a significant step in their own career. As a Senior Electronic Engineer you will be tasked with having much responsibility across the integration and instrumentation of developing pre-existing products on the market the introduction of new and exciting products being released to market. The role will encompass both Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions and integrating these solutions within the clients products so previous experience and an inherit interest within IoT and AI is highly desirable

Some additional responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:

  • Hands on design of electrical circuits and PCB's
  • Researching the requirements of the products and understanding their durability within their environment
  • Evaluate components used within the Electrical Design and understand life planning of such components
  • Designing and developing prototypes for testing ensuring suitability before being released to production
  • Ability to oversee individual projects including developing scopes, managing projects and conducting project reviews
  • Basic programming through languages including C, C++, Python etc..

About The Person

For this position the successful candidate will need a 3rd level qualification, ideally in Electronic Engineer or related qualification. The ideal candidate will need to have strong post grad experience across the area of Electronic/Hardware design with a basic understanding of programming languages such as C, C++, Python and at minimum 5 years' relevant experience.

Experience across Electronic Design software's such as Altium or Eagle is highly beneficial. Previous exposure within a design to manufacturing related role is advantageous, be that on-site or off-site manufacturing.

The successful candidate will also need strong research skills and with the keen desire to move into an innovative Electronic Engineer position where idea generation will be a key component of your day-to-day responsibilities.
