VP Regulatory Transaction Reporting

A key role within a new and building Irish entity for a Capital Markets Business, the VP of Regulatory Transaction Reporting needs a strong individual who has in-depth previous experience in the area of regulatory reporting and also needs to understand capital markets. This is a brand new role to the business and requires someone who could hit the ground running and own their own function. An excellent point of entry to this new and exciting venture in Dublin.

Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for working within a global matrixed team of professionals who manage the transaction reporting for the business / bank on a worldwide basis with a focus on MIFID 2 and EMIR compliance
  • As a team member and also a key leader, you will drive performance and ensure that the team is constantly testing and assessing the systems that is depended on for reporting.
  • Deep knowledge of the reporting requirements is necessary
  • You will interact with operations teams, sales and trading, technology, compliance, legal and other professionals across the firm to mitigate risks associated with reporting.

You ideally should have strong business knowledge and exposure to ever-evolving regulatory requirements in transaction reporting.

Strong understanding of operational risk management to effectively identify issues

At least 5 years of experience in transaction reporting to the regulators, ideally 10 years.
