Morgan McKinley are recruiting for a new formed role within a successful pharmaceutical company in Dublin. We are looking for a talented Digital Sales and Marketing Lead to lead the achievement of the sales plan for a new product.

This role will develop effective strategies and tactics aligned with the strategic direction of the brand and implement locally approved tactical plans and actively promote and champion the brand with all key internal and external key customer groups through on-line and face to face education, training and promotion.

The role:

  • Responsible for achievement of the sales plan.
  • Responsible for localisation of the franchise/global plan.
  • Accountable for the development of robust HCP training programs.
  • Create brand awareness of non-hormonal contraceptive alternatives amongst patients.
  • Internal and extern team, especially team lead and UK marketer and secondary care sales force.
  • Have KPIs related to programs in place, monitored and achieved
  • Manage the supply chain (Reimbursement / HTA is the responsibility of the country manager).
  • All activities and materials are in line with SOPs and are code compliant.al championing of brand
  • Responsible for the development and implementation of tactical brand plans and programmes within agreed timelines with all relevant internal and external stakeholders
  • Management of product marketing budget and sales forecast
  • Oversee promotion of two primary care-based HCPs
  • Support the secondary care sales force.
  • Bring the marketing plan aligned with the franchise strategy and collateral (unless otherwise indicated) and feed into the sales forecast in line with business planning cycle

The person:

  • Digital/Online communication experience or recent qualification in digital marketing very desirable.
  • Sales experience particularly in devices / medicines is a strong advantage.
  • Degree or equivalent
  • Understanding of the EFPIA code, compliant with the code and maintaining high Company standards always.
  • Understanding of the branded pharmaceutical market
  • Experience of brand management with demonstrable success
  • Proven experience in managing projects especially in women's health.
  • Excellent planning and prioritisation skills
  • Ability to apply understanding of the (current) local health environment, threats, challenges and issues to the product plans and adapt to a variety of customer needs
