Morgan McKinley are supporting a trusted business partner in their recruitment functions. Located in Dublin City Centre, this is a full-time permanent opportunity for a 5+ years' experienced Data and Analytics Manager.
Our client recently launched a new exciting digital transformation programme, and require an experienced manager to join their Agile Data Analytics team!
THE ROLE: The Data Analytics team is responsible for building and maintaining a dedicated data analytics environment to integrate both existing and new data sources to support department objectives. In addition, it is focuses on building processes, governance and a platform to support advanced analysis of all products and associated recalculation solutions.
The Data Analytics team's duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Data provisioning/integration, and financial recasting/forecasting;
- Producing data flows, transformation, testing, data quality assessment, and data analytics solutions;
- Sourcing, validating, housing and analysing data to support Product Monitoring, Thematic Reviews, Redress Calculations and Customer Impacting Errors where identified.
The role will also require people and project management skills to concurrently deliver solutions for different stakeholders to plan, budget and quality.
This is the ideal opportunity for a Data and Analytics Manager with solid knowledge of Data Architecture and previous management experience in a relevant Financial services environment.
Desirable Technical Skillset includes:
- Advanced SQL, Excel, MS Office, VBA
- Proven skills in understanding, analysing and manipulating data
- Data Modelling
- Big Data, ideally Teradata
- Agile delivery methodologies, including Scrum
- Some knowledge of Bank's products, Mortgages, Term Loans, Deposits, Current Accounts and Insurance
