Regulatory Risk & Compliance - Assistant Manager

The Regulatory Risk & Compliance Assistant Manager position is on offer in one of the most prestigious multinational companies based in the heart of Dublin City Centre.

Working as part of a medium sized team, you will be responsible for aiding clients and providing regulatory advice across a variety of regulatory risk and compliance projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct compliance and regulatory risk reviews, providing technical regulatory expertise particularly in the insurance industry
  • Participate and lead on compliance management projects to implement compliance frameworks and carry out compliance audits for clients
  • Ensure all projects are in line with allocated timeframes, ensuring deadlines are reached
  • Carry out risk and compliance management, reviewing policies and procedures concerning regulatory requirements for a variety of clients
  • Aid with the development of new business opportunities in the industry, working with other teams at all times
  • Deliver regulatory training to both internal and external colleagues in line with the clients needs
  • Analyse all new regulations and legislations applicable to the industry, relaying updates to both internal and external teams to ensure they are up to date
  • Continuously building strong relationships with groups both internally and externally including the regulator and clients within the industry

Requirements:

· Minimum of five years' experience in compliance, advisory, law or regulatory experience within a financial services environment

· Risk and compliance regulatory experience or exposure in the insurance industry is a distinct advantage

· Third level education - Bachelor's degree in Business or Economics

· Diploma in Compliance - Association of Compliance Officers in Ireland (ACOI)

· Expert in regulations, policies and procedures, conduct risk and data protection within the insurance industry

· Strong communication and people engagement skills are essential for the successful candidate

· Project management skill to lead projects and reaching out deadlines
