Full time administrator required for busy hospital in Cork City

The Central Appointments Administrator will perform a variety of clerical and data entry tasks, accurately process out patient department referrals on time, answer phones, schedule new and returning outpatient appointments and manage patient files.

Desired Qualifications, Training and Experience:

  • Previous medical clerical administration experience
  • Previous experience in high volume data entry roles
  • Ideally trained to ECDL level
  • Proficient in Microsoft packages

  • Able to maintain a high level of accuracy while working in a fast paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Motivated by getting things done and done well
  • Can work unsupervised and on own initiative

Salary & Benefits:

  • €10.20 per hour - 40 hour working week
  • 21 days annual leave
  • On-site staff parking
