BA - Regulatory Change

Leading Insurer going through significant and exciting change is looking for a Regulatory Change Business Analyst

Duties involve;

  • Translating Regulatory requirements impacting Regulatory Reporting into Business requirements and understand how this impact the business
  • Liaising with other functions in reviewing and closing out Targeted Risk Assessment (TRA) actions
  • Working with Finance, Risk and MI teams to assist in delivering end-to-end regulatory reporting
  • Working with other members of the COO team and the relevant business areas on projects, including outsourcing & the development of an internal capital model, to improve our regulatory change environment
  • Assisting and actively manage project plans & budgets
  • Working in close collaboration with the other stakeholders and develop strong relationships across the Business, Compliance, Legal, Technology
  • Communicating with all stakeholders, local offices across Europe and globally, and senior managers;
  • Ensuring that team procedures and best practices are maintained and followed, highlighting any amendments
  • Ensuring the COO is kept aware of all significant matters and that complaints, breaches and incidents are recorded within the required deadline
  • Contributing to identifying areas for continuous improvement

Experience Required

  • 4 yrs experience in a relevant regulatory change role
  • Understanding of the domestic regulatory landscape as well as at European & International level;
  • Project management skills
  • Experience in dealing in multi-geographical Group structures
  • Understanding of underwriting performance principles and calculations
  • Has the ability to participate in workstreams within a complex change environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, collaboration and presentation skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • High attention to detail
  • Desire and ability to work unsupervised
