Assistant Vice President - Tax
Our client, a distinguished professional consultancy firm operating in the Americas, Asia Pacific, Europe and the Middle East are hiring an Assistant Vice President to join their tax team.
This role offers the opportunity for a commercial, ambitious tax professional to make their first move out of Practice and join a leading financial services consultancy firm to gain valuable industry experience.
You'll join a dedicated tax team, with responsibility for the tax compliance obligations of a wide ranging portfolio of clients, including many of the world's foremost financial institutions, international corporations, asset managers and institutional investors.
The role will involve the preparation of Corporation Tax, VAT, PAYE and Investment Undertaking Tax returns, while also coordinating relevant FACTA, CRS and Country-by-Country Reporting filing obligations.
Candidates should be commercial, with strong communication skills to confidently liaise with relevant parties, including; auditors, investment managers, transaction parties in respect of new and existing tax clients and the Revenue Commission on behalf of clients with respect to tax returns filed.
You'll have the opportunity to assist with the preparation of client proposals, the on-boarding of new clients, billing, administration and client management.
Ideally, candidates will hold an AITI/CTA or ACA/ACCA qualification and have a minimum of 1 years' PQE. Candidates who don't meet this criteria, will be considered on a case by case basis. Big/4 Private Practice is desirable, particularly with prior experience in Financial Services Tax. VAT and/or PAYE experience is preferable, but not essential.
