My advice to candidates would be honesty and preparation. Working on permanent jobs requires a long term commitment and my duty is to make sure it will be a suitable match for both the client and candidate. Being honest and clear about what your skill set is and your wants for the future means I can find the best role for my candidate. Confidence and preparation is important, tailor your cv towards your desired roles and research the companies in that field to have an idea of what's required.
I started my career in Events and Marketing over 10 years ago starting off as an intern, making my way up to managing a team of over 60.
Marketing and Brand Management would have been my main responsibilities along with running event teams on live events of over 1,200. I was responsible for the hiring of all my staff and their contracts. My move to recruitment was driven by my love of working with people.
