I finished my law degree in 2007 and completed a Masters in Law in 2009 in my home country of Portugal, where I qualified as a lawyer in January 2013 having trained for 2.5 years in one of the largest Portuguese law firms, followed by an in-house lawyer role in an investment bank.

I moved to Dublin in February 2013 to work as a legal counsel for a large technology multinational, where I stayed for 3 years focusing particularly on commercial contracts within multiple jurisdictions. Afterwards I had a similar role in another multinational company, this time around in the pharmaceutical industry.

A desire to commercially collaborate with people and their hopes and aspirations drove me to recruitment and I definitely feel that the skills and knowledge acquired as a lawyer in different industries play a big part on my current role and on what I can bring to my clients and candidates.
