Most people leaving college do not dream of going back, but like myself (currently doing a masters qualification and working full time) more and more of the quality candidates that I am talking to are choosing to return to education and attain the QP status.
It was great to see so many people getting behind International Women’s Day, but unfortunately the reality is that in Ireland today the gender pay gap lies at around 15% with the average gap being around 23% across the EU.
November has seen an increase in the number of Quality roles which have opened in Dublin and Cork. We have seen a continued demand in the pharmaceuticals sphere but also new roles opening in the food industry in Cork.
September has seen an increase in the number of Validation roles which have opened in the East of the country in both the medical device and pharmaceutical companies. There is a high demand for validation engineers and a limited supply of candidates which puts strong candidates in a great position.
