Regional Salaries Are On The Up!

Katie O'Hara 28.01.2015

2014 was without doubt an exceptional year for the Western Regions, we consistently read and heard about IDA backed clients announcing new roles in the Mid-West, Connacht & Midlands regions. Outside of these announcements our Limerick based Consultants consistently saw an improvement in activity across A&F, Financial Services, Engineering, IT, HR and Office Support.

We have found that overall packages are improving with increased benefits, bonuses and annual leave increasing as well as overall salaries. Employers are now having to think ‘outside the box’ to attract and retain the best talent in the local market. Professionals are telling us that they expect career progression opportunities, training, and development with fun work environments to attract them to their companies.

We have seen an increase in large companies and MNC’s even implementing modern and vibrant recreational areas to attract new talent. Some of our clients now offer access to full gym facilities, pool tables, video game consoles & even a nail bar for female employees!

2015 is already shaping up to be an incredible year with increased activity across Transactional (AP/AR), Recently Qual & Senior End positions in both Industry and Practice. To get a more detailed insight into salary levels and benefits please view our recently published 2015 Salary & Benefit Guide.
