Speaking to clients over the past number of weeks they are already planning for 2019 and beyond which is testament to just how quickly the year is going.
It has certainly been a whirlwind first half in the Mid - West recruitment market.
There has been some exciting announcements of new FDI clients coming in to the region which has in turn lead to a huge upsurge in candidates relocating back to kick start or continue their careers in a multitude of sectors. Digital, aircraft leasing, IT and financial services are, but a few, of the areas that have seen a lot of progress in the opening 6 months. We have also seen a lot of movement in all areas including long term and temporary contracts.
The Mid West, as a region, is now being viewed as a desirable location due to the new and existing growth in the jobs market, industry diversity, life style and indeed the increased salary packages that are being offered.
With an exciting H2 ahead it is looking very positive for both clients and candidates alike as opportunities along with skill sets and diversity are increasing in the region. This in turn can only lead to more economic prosperity and an increased sense of getting the region back to the thriving market place that it has been in the past and promises to be in the future.
