What is your current position?

I am currently working as a Process Scientist within a GMP environment. I have worked with both Biologics and OSD products and have 5 years industry experience. 

Why did you pursue a career in this space?

I have always been really interested in both science and engineering. In my current role, I like that I get to work with both chemistry and manufacturing as a Process Scientist. 

Can you describe a typical day for you?

On any given day, I am involved in various activities such as problem solving, supporting Manufacturing issues, carrying out small scale trials and sit in cross team meetings.   

What do you enjoy most about your role? 

I love the challenge of trying to work out a problem.

What advice would you give someone who is looking to get into this line of work? 

You need to be clear about what your vision is and where you want to go in your career. You will need build your experience in other area’s such as process, engineering or support functions which will allow you to gain knowledge of the overall manufacturing process.
