Key highlights from the April 2013 monitor are as follows:

  • Month-on-month there was a 9% increase in job availability in April 13.
  • The Morgan McKinley Irish Employment Monitor recorded a decrease of 1% in the number of new professional job vacancies available in April 13 compared to the same month last year.
  • The number of professionals looking for new job opportunities increased marginally (5%) from March 13 to April 13.
  • Compared to the same time last year, this was a 4% decrease in the number of professionals seeking new jobs.
