The Wexford Business Awards took place on Friday 26th May 2017.

Last Friday night, the Morgan McKinley Marketing team attended the annual Wexford Business Awards. This years awards were held in the Clayton Whites Hotel and were compered by Hector O hEochagain. All attendees were encouraged to tweet from the event using the hashtag #wexbizawards resulting in the Awards ceremony trending at No 2 in Ireland for most of the evening.

With 15 categories on the night, there were lots of worthy winners worth speaking about. However, the awards of most interest to us on the Marketing team were the Ecommerce Award and the Social Media / Digital Marketing Award.Wexford Business Awards

Nominated in the Ecommerce category were TK IT Services Ltd, Lantern Events, The Omnipro Group, 2Cubed, MakemyWill Solicitors, Dulann Ltd and Blackstairs Web Design.  The winning title went to Dulann Ltd with runners up being Lantern Events. Both companies have invested heavily in their eCommerce sites in the last year to develop their business.

The Social Media / Digital Marketing Award category comprised TEDx Wexford, Brand Nova Digital, P:owerhouse PR, Tweeting Goddess, Talbot Suites at Stonebridge, Dane Tyghe Driving Instructor, 2Cubed and Graphedia Ltd.  It was third time lucky for the Tweeting Goddess, Samantha Kelly as she took away the much coveted award on the night. Graphedia Ltd were very worthy runners’ up.

Morgan McKinley were very proud to sponsor the Wexford Business Awards this year and look forward to continuing the relationship for years to come.
