Job Description

Project Scheduler €45-€55k Dublin with International Travel Fluent Spanish a distinct advantage

The role will involve creation and ongoing management of project schedules and risk registers for the business and late stage development projects. This will involve interfacing with members of the multi-functional project team and partners to maintain project documents and reporting the Business Manager.

Key responsibilities will include, but not be restricted to:

  • Creation and management of project schedules from development through to commercial operation
  • Liaison with team developers, engineers and consultants to update project schedules
  • Working with a multi-functional team
  • Manage and keep up to date the project risk register
  • Preparation and management of baseline schedules for projects
  • Development and management of project control methodologies
  • Reporting on project performance to the organization and highlighting areas of variance to the project baselines
  • Enabling strategic resource allocation across the onshore portfolio
  • Ensuring appropriate document control
  • Ensure appropriate project control technologies in place
  • Enable and manage schedule reporting interface between the company and project partners

Ensure information is supplied to the management team as required

The candidate should be equipped with the following key skills and capabilities:

  • Graduate with an honours degree
  • Minimum 2 years project/portfolio management experience
  • Proficient in the use of Primavera and Microsoft Project softwares

Preferably holds a Diploma in Project Management and a Project Management

  • certification such as IPMA or PMP
  • Attention to detail and a broader strategic view essential
    • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
    • Familiarity with construction planning, work methods and sequences
    • Ability to integrate data from multiple sources and work in a team
    • Proven capability to meet deadlines and deliver to timescales
    • Familiarity with construction safety, means and methods
    • An organised approach to working, task prioritisation and time management
    • Ability to maintain sight of the 'big picture' and overarching objectives at all times

Good IT skills, including experience with MS Office
