Job Description
My client a leading industry solutions provider based in Cork has an excellent opportunity for a Localisation Project Manager to join their team
The successful applicant will assume project management responsibility for a range of projects, liaising between localisation Teams and International Corporate Clients, to deliver projects to specified Client requirements, within the required budget and to the necessary levels of quality.
Responsibilities:
- Scope and quote projects for identified clients
- Plan and monitor projects to meet deadline, quality and budget requirements
- Manage client relationships and serve as primary day-to-day contact for external clients
- Provide support and input to Sales and external clients, including education about the localisation process, as required
- Collaborate with production teams to create, implement and maintain appropriate client or project specific procedures, solutions, checklists and instructions
- Monitor and maintain project financials, including revenue recognition, revenue forecasting and billings
- Ensure accuracy of financial project data, workflows, schedules and processes to maximise efficiency and profitability - strong numeracy and accuracy skills a must
- Collaborate with internal teams to initiate and implement procedural changes and customised workflows
- Resolve questions and issues in a timely and effective manner for clients and internal teams
- Track and consolidate schedule progress and issues associated with each project.
- Organise and participate in client meetings (Quarterly Business, Review meetings etc)
- Create and submit project estimates for Clients (24-hour turnaround)
- Contribute to internal process improvement - initiative will be required in this area
- Articulate clearly and promptly to teams the Client brief, including any special instructions to increase understanding and context of project - initiative required
- Work with Client to achieve visibility on workloads for resource and project planning.
- Maintenance and publication of weekly/monthly status reports both internally and to Clients
Requirements
- Min 2 years project project management/ within the Localisation, IT or DTP sectors.
- BA, BS or Business Degree
- Knowledge of functional and technical aspects of Win and Mac based platforms.
- Ability to assimilate, hold and interpret a wide variety of information.
- Excellent verbal, written communication skills essential as English may not be first language of target groups. Management of Client relationships also a key feature of this position.
- Organisational and planning skills imperative.
- Ability to promptly troubleshoot problems and deliver solutions.
