• A world class leading manufacturer of tooling for the Pharmaceutical industry requires a full time, Permanent CNC engineer to work with our team of machine setters.
• The ideal candidate will get to work in a challenging environment, working with the latest software and technology, in a state of the art machine shop.

Duties:

• Set up CNC machine tools in the most effective and efficient way
• Become conversant with all CNC machine tools, control panels and programming parameters within the Company
• Liaise with Design Engineers and Programming department as necessary to assist with the resolution of manufacturing problems and fixture design/manufacture

Requirements:

• Minimum of three years relevant practical experience
• Programming experience using G - codes
• Experience of setting of multi-axis machines

Desired but not essential:

• Working knowledge of Fanuc controllers
• Experience in one off/prototyping environment
• Experience of Lean manufacturing systems
