Electrical Engineer

Requirements:

• projects will typically involve the analysis, design, development and integration of new systems that will be implemented as upgrades of existing machines/plant or on new installations.
• These systems will be effectively integrated with other plant or machine elements including Safety Devices, PLC based control systems, Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems, motion control systems, Mechanical Guarding elements etc.
• Using automation and electrical engineering principles you will become an expert in the implementation of safety systems to machines and/or production lines.
• You will serve as a technical contributor in the development of technical solutions to meet our customers' needs.

Qualifications:

• You will have a strong understanding of all major machine elements including: Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Motion Control, and Electrical Control; and which may include installation, commissioning and down time management; and you will also have:
• 8+ years' experience in the electrical engineering field, preferably with experience in the design and/or upgrade of manufacturing machines or plant equipment.
• A relevant degree in engineering, preferably in electrical, industrial or control systems.
• Experience with installation, troubleshooting as well as programming and the supervision or contribution to Electrical and Mechanical design, installation and commissioning teams.
• The ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a multi-disciplined team.
• Good project management skills.
